DASFAA 2007 International Workshop on Scalable Web Information Integration and Service

Overview

Recent advances in Web technologies and applications such as Web Data Management, Web Information Integration, Web Services, Web Data Warehousing, Web Data Mining, have rapidly changed our life in various ways. The objective of the workshop is to bring together researchers, industrial practitioners, and developers to study how the Web information can be extracted, stored, analyzed, and processed to provide useful knowledge to the end users for various advanced database and Web applications. This workshop aims to promote all the areas related to Web information technology.

Submission

All submissions should be in English. Submission of a paper should be regarded as an undertaking that, should the paper be accepted, at least one author will attend the workshop to present the work. Authors have to submit their papers£¨6 pages, IEEE-CS Proceedings-like format, Trim size: 9 inches x 6 inches£©by sending PostScript or PDF files to wanggr@mail.neu.edu.cn. The post-workshop proceedings will be published by World Scientific, a Singaporean Publisher.

Author Information

Please pay close attention on the following points when you¡¯re revising your paper for the final publication:

1. Each paper is limited to 10 pages in the proceedings format according to the instructions by the World Scientific Press. Please download the style files in Tex and Word. If a paper exceeds 10 pages, then the payment for the extra pages is charged at the rate of US$100 per page, which must be included in the payment when you send in the final version. Still, the maximum number of pages for each paper should not exceed 12 pages in any case.

2. Author should revise your paper based on the comments and recommendations from the reviewers of your paper, which are enclosed at the end of this e-mail. The electronic files (incl. PDF) should be sent no later than March 10th, 2007 to Dr. Guoren Wang: wanggr@mail.neu.edu.cn.

3.Please noted that at least one author for each accepted paper MUST attend to the workshop and present their papers. Each attendee will get one copy of informal proceedings, CDROM. Only the presented papers will be included in a post-proceedings published by the World Scientific.

Workshop Album
