Dear MDM'08 Authors and participants:

Formal invitation letter for Visa or testimonial is available through Hui SUN of Renmin University of China. You can send your name, passort number, nationality, affilation, profession, birth date, country and city where you apply for visa, period of stay, paper title, and other contact information to the email address at to have formal invitation letters.

Participants from other countries are required to get a visa to enter China. Today in many countries it is easy to get a tourist visa to China from the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in their living countries. For participating MDM 2008, this tourist visa will give you enough duration for attending the conference and having a post conference tour. In this case, there is no need for you to get an invitation letter from the conference. However, if you do need a letter for attending the conference, please send an email to the following conference officer

Obtaining the visa normally takes some time. Please get advices from your nearby Chinese Embassy or Consulate to make sure you have enough time for getting your visa application approved. It is the policy of MDM 2008 that an invitation letter can be sent out only to those people who have paid their registration fees or to the authors of the accepted papers.
