WAMDM实验室介绍
WAMDM的全称是"Web And Mobile Data Management"(即网络与移动数据管理实验室), 它是
孟小峰(
本地镜像 )教授所领导的一个研究型实验室，附属于
数据工程与知识工程教育部重点实验室以及
中国人民大学 信息学院 计算机科学与技术系。
WAMDM实验室的研究兴趣是如何使数据库技术能更好地适应和融入网络和移动的计算环境。我们实验室的研究风格有两个方面：既有理论研究，也有实际系统。这样保证了我们的研究都是有实用价值的。创新数据系统研究是我们的目标！
WAMDM实验室进行数据库相关的研究已经有许多年了，是国内最好的数据库研究小组之一。实验室的科研项目涵盖网络数据管理、XML数据管理，以及移动数据管理。包括以下领域：Web数据抽取，Deep Web数据集成，个人数据空间，Native XML数据库，Ontology数据管理，路网上移动对象管理、嵌入式DBMS、位置隐私保护，外包数据库安全，闪存数据库技术等等
